LAST WEEK’S PROGRAM:
Led by President Jonathan Moore, the club opened with the
singing of America and the Pledge of Allegiance. Pamela Cicioni
gave the invocation, Allison McElroy led in the singing of
“Happy Birthday” to those with July birthdays, and “God Bless
America”, and Corey Davidson introduced visiting Rotarians and
guests.
Outgoing President Jonathan Moore spoke of the accomplishments
of the past year and presented plaques to the Board members who
served with him, as well as a few others who helped throughout
the year.

Vicki Wing, Pam Bird, Dick Trammel, John George, Darrin Chism,
Randy Shofner were all presented certificates for their help
throughout the year.
He then presented incoming President Rick McLeod with the
Presidential gavel.
Rick introduced the incoming board; as well as the re-alignment
of the committee responsibilities they will be responsible for:
Buddy Rogers – Club Administration
Jonathan Wilson – Club Public Relations
Corey Davidson – Rotary Foundation
Michael Gower – Service Projects
Wendy Kumpe – Vice President & President Elect
Hal Savage – Secretary
Clarence Guinn – Treasurer
Macadda Peoples – Sergeant at Arms
Jonathan Moore – Past President
He then spoke about the small and large changes to the
committees for this Rotary year. Our club is doing great things
in our community and we need to publicize these activities. He
has tasked the Board with meeting with each committee gathering
ideas and bring back to the club a program of work for each
committee. He asked members to sign up for a committee and
actively participate in that committee.
President Rick closed the meeting with the reciting of the Four
Way Test.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Nathan Cash
announced there would be an appreciation breakfast on July 8
from 7:30a-8:30a at the Red Cross office (not a fundraiser).
The Red Cross office is located at 250 Industrial Circle
East, Tontitown.

Jonathan Moore presented Allison McElroy with the Adult
Development Center, a check from our club in the amount of
$3,000

Jonathan Moore presented Jenny Harmon with the Ozark Natural
Science Center a check from our club in the amount of
$1,200. She thanked the club and announced the 3,800 fifth
graders were served at the Center in the 2007/2008 school
year.

Hal Savage
announced our club ended the Rotary year with 130 members.

Hal asked
everyone to look at their personal info on the back of the
new bulletin and verify the info is correct. If you need to
make a change, let him know and it will be fixed on the next
printing of the bulletins.
